Back when pagers were all the rage and schools still had typing classes, I was a sassy little chatterbox who got in trouble in Louisiana History class and as punishment, my mother took away my TV privileges. And if that wasn’t bad enough, she took away my books, too! It was like Fahrenheit 451 in the Devers’ household.
I wrote two super weird stories that night. One was about a girl who took her dog to prom. The other? A girl wanted to know what she tasted like…so she ate herself. Needless to say, I like my heroines flawed and slightly demented.
When I’m not busy writing funny, feisty romantic sheroes, I enjoy being the wacky, foul-mouthed auntie, eating pizza and taking naps.
